When Christina was younger, she had a hard time keeping up with her mom, who always set the pace when they walked or exercised together. Recently, however, Christina, a yoga instructor, noticed a change in her mother, so she agreed to don an Empathy Suit used by Ford’s engineering team that limits range of motion and simulates vision and hearing loss. The goal: to understand what her mom Hilary’s going through. While mother and daughter get a good laugh when Christina first appears in the Velcro-clad Third Age suit and large glasses, eventually both are moved by what the suit reveals.
