How to Host a Classic Holiday Story Night for All Ages
A classic holiday story can fill your heart and put a smile on your face— no matter how old you are. Here's everything you need to host a fun holiday story night, in partnership with Starbucks.
Come With Your Favorite Holiday Stories
Classic holiday stories have endured for a reason— they're timeless! Invite your guests to share their favorite holiday stories, then ask them to share the meanings behind them and what makes them so special.
Set Up A Fun Kids’ Table
After the group has shared a few stories, have the kids create their own holiday stories. Have each kid tell their story to the group. To add an extra layer of fun, cover the kids’ table with construction paper and supply crayons so that they can doodle scenes from the stories as they listen.
Supply Seasonal Drinks
Keep everyone feeling warm and cozy with a make-your-own hot chocolate station stocked with Starbucks® Classic Hot Cocoa K-Cup® Pods and a selection of flavored syrups. And for the adults who want an extra pick-me-up, create a make-yourown affogato station! Blend brewed Starbucks® Holiday Blend coffee, and vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.
Gift A Book
Keep the storytelling going by ending the night with a book swap. Have your guests bring one of their favorite stories. Place all the books in a bag and have each guest randomly select one for keeps.
